Kitchen Update #1

Started removing the drywall to expose the wiring. This will allow us to add GFI outlets and a few with Power outlets with USB ports for charging your iPhone/iPad, etc. So once the drywall has been removed I'll try my hand at a little framing work. Most of the subfloor is gone too!

Start date for the kitchen remodel was June 1, 2015. We moved in to our house almost ten years ago. At that time we said we would update the kitchen soon. Soon turned out to be almost ten years. So our kitchen remodel is off and running. I'll post updates as we move along.

Thanks to Taz and Emily we made short work of removing the cabinets and old floors (both tile and linoleum). I'm thinking the subflooring will need to be replaced too. Suzanne and I have picked out the flooring, paint color and cabinets. We put a deposit on the cabinets today! Cabinet install date is scheduled for July 7th if we are ready.
