The "China" Anniversary

A couple of months ago I gave Eric some ramekins for our anniversary. It was the "china" anniversary. So since he didn't want to go to China, something breakable was the answer. So 20 years = ramekins. I know I promised to keep the cooking on the other blog (where Em just baked a Pineapple Upside Down Cake), so I'll keep it short. I'm learning to use the ramekins. I learned to bake eggs from Julia Child the other day on PBS and I found that I was able to make mini-pear crisps from memory. Kind of cool serving up "single" servings for the fam in these totally adorable little cooking dishes!

Happy Anniversary you two! Those are cute dishes- I'd love to learn how to cook in them some day. Is this pear crisp recipe on your cooking blog? I must check it out, I love crisps! I just never make them... perhaps it's time to start.

I'll add it to the cooking blog soon! I agree that crisps are yummy and the little pear crisps were pretty easy to make!
