I had the state safety and emissions check done last
week. Failed on both tests, the lower
ball joint on the left side needed to be replaced and the emissions at a 2500
RPM were too high.
Monday I took the Jeep to The Little Garage and they replaced the ball joints and tuned up the carburetor. The Jeep passed both the safety and emissions tests. A quick trip to the DMV this morning and I got the stickers for the license plate and my new vehicle registration.
Here’s a picture with the “HAVOC” license plates that I had on my first vehicle in 1987.
